Comprehensive Doula and Life Coach Care Rooted in Experience

Together we will get through any issue, and come out stronger than before.

I grew up inspired by the courage of the various resistance fighters of WWII. This sparked what has become a lifelong interest in resistance and trauma. In 2012 I got involved in health care inequality. In 2015 I was diagnosed with Bipolar I and PTSD. Since then I have worked as a lab tech in beer and wine, and continued volunteering while healing my own trauma.

I have been coaching since 2018. I have also volunteered my time at needle exchanges, OutsideIn in Portland, OR and Street Outreach Supporters in Santa Cruz, CA. In addition, I have served as a counselor on a crisis line. I use my experience to help people and I'm always ready and willing to learn new things.

Currently I volunteer with a local death care society. I wash and prepare bodies for burial. I also provide emotional support for people living with a cancer diagnosis. I am a servant of the people. It would be my honor to aid, guide, assist, listen to or coach you.

"Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves, like locked rooms and like books that are now written in a very foreign tongue. Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps you will then gradually, without noticing it, live along some distant day into the answer."

-Rainer Maria Rilke

Death Doula work brings people together to find a better path as we approach the time of transition. The practice provides structured care that will bring relief and comfort to you and your loved ones.

Life Coaching provides knowledge, skills and analysis to find the best path forward for you and your goals. We will work together to achieve what you set out to accomplish.

I felt a spark very young that led to a lifelong appreciation for personal liberty and agency. After finishing a degree focused on healthcare inequalities I began a career as a laboratory technician in the beer industry. I worked in beer for a decade before I found myself in a winery. I then took time off to care for my ailing Father. Though I worked in labs, I spent time volunteering and that work has proven to be quite meaningful and is what led me to start my practice.

From a young age I supported my grieving family. We have all experienced loss in our lives. As we must keep our hearts soft, we can grieve and heal together. I recently lost my Father and through that loss I have learned many valuable lessons. Most of all, we must love each other. Through our work together we can face the end with care and dignity.

Currently I volunteer with a group that prepares bodies for burial and I see clients living with cancer. I've led an art series in the community too. My goal is to help people achieve their goals and feel their feelings in order to have the life they want.

“Perhaps a willingness to face such shared vulnerability gives us the capacity to repair the world. Those who find the courage to share a common humanity may find they can bless anyone, anywhere.”
